Hello Terrace High! If you are a new student – Welcome! If you are a returning student we’re glad you’re back. I would also be remiss if I didn’t send a shout out to the Class of 2015 as you enter your last year of public school.

The Hawkeye has graciously allowed me a little space in, without a doubt, one of the top 5 or even number 1 high school newspaper in the United States.

This is another great opportunity for the MTHS ASB/Athletic Office to get accurate info out to students and parents alike. So, with that said please utilize us anytime you have questions or concerns.

Our office is always the right place to get the right information you are seeking regarding Activities, Athletics, Eligibility, Clubs, Homecoming, Commencement, Hall of Fame info, the list is endless and we are always ready to help.

Our office is always the right place to get the right information you are seeking regarding Activites, Athletics, Eligibility, Clubs, Homecoming, Commencement, Hall of Fame info, the list is endless.

Here are a couple ways to obtain the correct info you are seeking:

MTHS Website – www.edmonds.wednet.edu/mths

Sports Info – www.wescoathletics.com This is the only 100 percent guaranteed site for MTHS Athletics

The Hawkeye, of course – www.thehawkeye.org

Stew – 425-431-5693 [st******@ed*****.edu]

Nadine – 425-431-5694 [co*****@ed*****.edu]

Lastly, as many of you know there are new Federal Guidelines regarding healthier options in vending machines in schools.

You will see quite a change in what you can find during school hours this year and most of you know this is a major source of income for our Activities/Athletic programs.

I’ve got to say the items look pretty darn good, so we hope you will find some items you really like.

As always, we continue looking for alternative sources of revenue to keep our programs going. It is a proven fact that kids do better in school when they are part of a school activity.

My main goal is to provide students with as many options as we can to get them involved. My door, email and phone welcome your ideas at any time.

~ Stew!

Note: The Hawkeye provides the MTHS Athletics and Activities office space each issue in the Op/Ed section as part of our mission as a designated open public forum.
