At the end of the season, menÕs swim finished off with a 0 - 9 record. There was tremendous growth in the team and they all had a great time getting to know each other while competing. At the district meet, the boys faced rigorous matches but finished with an overall feeling of achievement. ÒI was too sick to compete in the district finals, which was disappointing, but the District meet felt like a great end to the season.Ó Stated junior swim captain Spencer Milner.
Throughout the season the team discovered their definition of a team, ÒWe had really great guys this year who all worked as a team very well. I believe our definition of a team was supporting each other, motivating each other to give it all weÕve got and helping each other out to improve our strokes.Ó Milner said.
MenÕs swim is really going to miss Òthe graduating seniors.Ó Said swimmer Franco Yip with Milner adding, ÒWhat I will miss the most is having Justin (Lee) and Kevin (Yang) on our team, since this was their last year. Not only were they both great swimmers who helped make our relay teams fast, but they were great guys too. They were funny and fun to have on the team.Ó Because they are losing two important swimmers, Franco had a very possible request, ÒI wish that more people will join the swim team in Terrace.Ó
