Two nights ago the Hawks’ baseball team did great beating Meadowdale 3-2.

Elliot Nebel hit a triple in the bottom of the fourth to ignite the crowd with two RBI. This happened right after Dominic DeMiero was injured on his pitching hand due to a hit by pitch.

Even though DeMiero was injured, the Hawks still pulled out the win. Before his injury, DeMiero pitched a four inning no-hitter and was in a battle of pitchers with no score after the top of the fourth with six strikeouts.

In the bottom of the fifth, Jaden Yackley hit the Hawks’ first homerun of the season, giving the Hawks a comfortable lead of 3-0. But in the top of the sixth, the Mavericks came storming back and almost tied it up. However, DeMiero’s replacement Raiden Silva kept them from coming back completely, allowing the Hawks to pull out the win.
